- Wage Example
Permanent employees (full-time employees) are also paid a specified hourly rate (￥1,540 or ￥1,590 per hour).
Monthly wage is approximately ￥260,000 to ￥270,000.
1st year ￥3,200,000
2nd year ￥3,300,000
3rd year ￥3,500,000
After reaching the top hour rate, two Extra Check payments will be provided, depending on the length of continuous employment. - Automatic Pay Rise
Every 1,040 hours (about 6 months), hourly wage increases by ￥30 to maximum ￥230 per hour. The top rate is ￥1,950 per hour (￥330,000/month) or ￥2,100 per hour (￥360,000/month). - Shift
- 40 hours/week shift.
- 8.5 hours/day between 4:30 and 22:00 (actual working hours of 7.5 hours/day).
- 1-hour break (30mins paid break and 30mins unpaid break)
- Each department’s work schedule varies from those of other departments.
- Overtime
- Up to 30 to 60 minutes overtime per day might occur only during the holiday season.
- Overtime pay of 1.35 times the hourly rate will be paid for all hours worked in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.
- Hourly rate on national holidays will be 1.35 times of the regular hour rate and a substitute holiday will be granted.
- Management positions are paid salary and includes fixed overtime pay, which is paid over the 12 months period.

- Automatic Pay Rise
Every 1,040 hours (about 6 months), hourly wage increases by ￥30 to maximum ￥230 per hour. The top rate is ￥1,950 per hour or ￥2,100 per hour. - Shift
- No less than 24 hours/week and less than 40 hours/week shift.
- Shift between 4:30 and 22:00.
- Work schedule depends on the department.
- Prefers people who can work on Saturdays, Sundays and National Holidays.
- Overtime
- Up to 30 to 60 minutes overtime work might occur only in holiday season.
- Overtime of pay of 1.35 times employee’s current hourly rate will be paid for all hours worked in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.
- When you work on a national holiday, your hourly rate will be 1.35 times of our regular rate, and compensation holiday pay will be paid to you.
- In case of Pharmacists, every 1,040 hours (about 6 months), hourly wage increases by ￥70 to maximum ￥80 per hour. The top rate is￥3,550 (￥610,000/month).
- Holiday Work Allowance is paid when you work on National Holidays (excluding Saturdays and Sundays).
- Up to 30 minutes break will be paid.
Salaried
- Management positions are paid by annual salary, which is divided by 12 months.
- Experience based salary.
